    They are, definitely. :)

Man, 17k+ views already?! That's awesome. That's also the most amount of people that I unquestioningly know of that have heard any of my electronic material! :hehe:

    Thanks, guys!

You HAD to use the 'B' word, didn't you!:hehe: I'm going to go read the comments. The gizmodo kiddies HATE my designs.:D They are always good for a laugh.

@EEL - You could sell a few pieces to the Jump Back people. Then you'd have it popping up in games and car lot commercials.

I hopped over there the other day, I'm impressed. And so as to not go completely off-topic, congrats on the Giz post. :thumb:

Use the CompGeeks packing technique: Put it in a box with two or three of those plastic pilows, and hope for the best.

The pics and video show Bill upside down trying to put it together. I hope he figures out how to take it apart without medical intervention.:wallbash:

Hahah, I've received stuff from Geeks before... It's scary.

*crosses fingers hoping everything goes well and UPS doesn't decide to pull a TMB casemod on the box*

Wrap the cube in a garbage bag, put it in an oversize box and pour it full of expanding polyurethane foam. Whack the foam off when it arrives and remove the bag.

One small problem is the PU foam is exothermic and gives off a BUNCH of heat while curing. Probably melt the plexi on the cube and the garbage bag.

    Nevermind.

Box one has some impressive skidmarking, but the contents are intact.:thumb:

If THAT delivered the package, I wouldn't mind the skidmarks.

    ...skidmarks...

I keep meaning to post but that John's UPS pic keeps distracting me. :)

Awesome design and perfect execution! Bravo!

She's going to hurt her self lifting heavy boxes with her back arched like that.:hehe:

*Just got an image of her bending over to pick something up...

Anyway, I got some stuff in late last night.:D
    First, here was box one:
    -Whee! Ion Motherboard!:D
    [IMG]
-Oops! Scratch that. It's spare parts and install discs.
-Under that was the base with the power brick.
-Box two. This kills me. Bill packed the sh*******t out of this stuff. This is a full atx case box.:hehe:
-Box two unpacked. There was a handy styrofoam carry tray in the box too.
-Inside box three, wrapped in 5 layers of bubble wrap, was another box.
-Inside that box was more bubble wrap. At this point I thought he had sent me an empty box to unwrap, just for a cruel laugh.
-I think the fan guard would have arrived safely even if it had been dropped from 50,000 feet.:D
    [IMG]
-I'll figure out what to do with the three foot pile of bubble wrap in my rumpus room later. -Maybe an audio re-enactment of Pearl Harbor...
-Don't you hate that. The instructions are in Japanese! I may never get this back together.
-I don't think this part got enough fanfare. I essentially gave Bill a vague angle and said 'wing it !' What he ended up with is absolutely fantastic!
-Here's how far I got on it last night. Stuff got moved and tweaked. I'm going to add all the stuff that didn't make the deadline.

    Thanks again, everyone!:D
