gave me a chuckle this morning as the 430 isnt going to be playing the latest directx 11 titles any time soon
That what happens when you use copy and paste a bit too much. In reality, I am sure you can.. just at minimum settings with DX11 enabled. It like Intel GPU's that claim DX 10 and 11 compatible.. it's like good luck using that.. unless you enjoy minimum settings games played as a slide show.. but then again, when the only game that actually runs on the Intel GPU is Myst 1 or 2, I think the user thinks that all games are slide show by design, when you move, and you get used to it. This reminds me of the nForce motherboard for the dual AMD CPU, to reach Quad core several years ago. The motherboard had 10x USB 2.0. But they put 20x USB 1.0, instead. Later they fixed it with 20x USB 2.0.. but it's not 20.. it's 10! You can clearly see that on reviews, on the picture, and on the box!
You have to give the Communication Majors some credit though, they at least know something about the Associative Property of Multiplication. You see, as everyone knows, USB 2.0 is equal to 2 USB 1.0 ports because 1.0 * 2 = 2.0. When you have 10 x of these USB 2.0 ports, you can rearrange the values so that it becomes 10 * 2 * USB 1.0, then it is just a matter of simplification.
And then you try to play games on your friend's PC who accepts that same fact and swiftly go crazy which makes him go crazy too as you end up complaining continually...but that's another story. The number of people who can deal with sub-30FPS is mind boggling, and the number that don't even notice is even more so.
@feedayeen hehe, nice one! +1 it was a joke. I said it in such way to make a smile on people faces. In any case: Friends don't let friend use Intel GPU's (and drink and drive)
I think he was just venting his frustrations at having friends who can accept sub-30 fps. And sadly he's right on the money. It's scary how many people can accept slideshow gameplay as normal. A buddy of mine plays BFBC2 on a 9500GT. I don't get it.
Yeah, basically. I don't let friends use Intel graphics if they're serious about playing PC games. Friend in question has a pre-built Medion PC (blarrrrgh!) with a 5670 in it, he played Just Cause 2 with 4xAA enabled, was atrocious! Instantly went to settings and disabled most things...
