    Knowing nvidia its probably some hyped up card that consumes more power than a overheating Japanese nuclear reactor and performs about 10% better than a previous gen.

    Video cards and ammo boxes have nothing to do with each other.

    It's just a silly marketing tool because their target audience stereotypically thinks that anything psuedo-military is the bee's knees. For people who are legitimately interested in the product it just gets in the way.

    Snips! Naughty! The 6 series has done very well, and need I remind you that the 6990 is still the most powerful card available?

    Is this 590 being revealed tomorrow? And benches? Reviews, etc?

    I need a new computer ... and I can't wait any longer!!

    To be fair i think both Nvidia and Ati need the 28nm die shrink to give "next gen" performance, without having a stupidly high power draw and heat output.
    I think the only think Nvidia are guilty of is using the "next gen" too much and using it within the same series ie "next gen" to me means 6xx series.
