First, where we are now: Idling (ambient 18C at intake level): After 30 min Orthos small FFT (ambient 18C): HSF is Scythe Ninja Plus rev.B with the stock Scythe fan (spec 1600rpm @12V ?), speed-controlled by the mobo. I'm happy with the noise level at 2.7GHz though could bring load temperatures down by running the fan a bit faster. Question is on the memory (budget Corsair 2GB Kit (2x1GB) DDR2 675MHz/PC2-5400 XMS Memory Non-ECC Unbuffered CL4(4-4-4-12) Heat Spreader) - is the 675MHz and 4:5 ratio better than a 1:1 ratio (540MHz) with tighter timing? And WTF are the top two temperature sensors measuring? Obviously not NB & case, as I originally guessed. Speedfan seems to be having problems with this board, the 12V figure is silly and varies a lot with load. All suggestions appreciated, I'm a n00b with a new toy. Though for a £53 processor it's doing nicely so far...
