getting new system on tuesday from cyberpower systems but need advice now on which o/s to get do i do for 32bit or 64bit , my system will be nforce750i-sli M/B.ocz 4gb RAM.400gb sata-ii 3.0gb/s 7200rpm H/DRIVE. xfx geforce8800 gtx extreme gamer 760mb G/CARD.800watt tagen PSU.extreme qx9650 3.00ghz CPU. so any advice would be apprecieted. thanxs llah66
New hardware will not/should not have any problem with 64-bit Windows Vista. Just make sure your printer and other peripherals has 64-bit drivers, or compatible drivers, as you cannot install 32-bit drivers inside 64-bit OS (of course). If your printer or other peripherals have "WinXP Pro 64-bit" drivers, then it should not have any issue under Vista 64-bit, but contact the company to make sure.
Right, what I wanted to say is that if you decided to get an old hardware like... an Nforce 2 for some reason, you won't find any official Vista 64-bit drivers.
