    getting new system on tuesday from cyberpower systems but need advice now on which o/s to get do i do for 32bit or 64bit , my system will be nforce750i-sli M/B.ocz 4gb RAM.400gb sata-ii 3.0gb/s 7200rpm H/DRIVE. xfx geforce8800 gtx extreme gamer 760mb G/CARD.800watt tagen PSU.extreme qx9650 3.00ghz CPU.
    so any advice would be apprecieted.

    64 bit, it will allow for the 4gb of ram to be addressed as such.

    is there any probelms though with some hardware and running games on a 64 bit

    New hardware will not/should not have any problem with 64-bit Windows Vista.
    Just make sure your printer and other peripherals has 64-bit drivers, or compatible drivers, as you cannot install 32-bit drivers inside 64-bit OS (of course).
    If your printer or other peripherals have "WinXP Pro 64-bit" drivers, then it should not have any issue under Vista 64-bit, but contact the company to make sure.

    the 64 bit issues with hardware is from XP 64 bit, Vista is fine.

    Right, what I wanted to say is that if you decided to get an old hardware like... an Nforce 2 for some reason, you won't find any official Vista 64-bit drivers.
