O2 Adverts

I just had a page with two O2 adverts appear on it, my CPU usage shot up to 56%, 45% of which was the O2 adverts.

Please can they be sorted out?

 

Maybe Flash based? Flash uses CPU a lot.
I don't get the ads here in the Colonies.

It's only when I get two of the O2 adverts on, very odd.

 

Happens to me too - Chrome is using 20-30% when the ads are visible. If I scroll down it reduces to 2-3%.

 

I've told Hiren already. It's #37 on his list and he's the only trafficer in today for the whole of Dennis

 

It also causes hangs on FF3.1b3 when clicking links on the forum and trying to change tabs. I'm going to have to block until the issue is resolved I'm afraid guys

 

not only that, but they're really fricking annoying. spinning pink and white stripes? come on. i just installed flashblock because of them.

 

Once scrolled past them it's fine but until then it's spinning my laptop fan up to full speed which is driving me insane.
