Just been playing with my P+S, came up with this: (Just to point out, I'm a total photography n00b, and this has had no alterations. Was just getting used to my new camera and liked this shot...)
I like the concept of the shot as well as the composition. Feel having a nice proper macro lens for an slr would have allowed you really to get the most out of the idea, but considering for a P&S tis good.
Thanks for the comments thus far. I am considering buying an SLR if I'm still taking pictures in about 6 months or so. Currently funds don't really permit it, but with my new job, life should allow me to buy the occasional luxury. As for seeing more, the amount I've been playing with this camera there most likely will be
