I've got my XP2400+ running at 2350MHz aircooled, 168 * 14, in my Epox 8RDA+ with a 512MB stick of Corsair PC2700LL RAM at 2-2-2-5 timings. I want to see how far I can overclock it, but when I go over 168 FSB I get a RAM error in POST. I think this is because I haven't set the right timings for it to go significantly over its 333MHz limit, but I don't know which ones need relaxing and which can stay the same. I don't want to make my RAM too slow if I can help it.

Also, I've been getting error messages in my Event Viewer (running Win2k) from USERENV, saying:

Windows cannot unload your registry file. If you have a roaming profile, your settings are not replicated. Contact your administrator.

DETAIL - Access is denied. , Build number ((2195)).

A friend told me this was to do with my timings, and to reduce to 2-2-2-6, but it didn't help. Any ideas?

I have the same ram and I can go up to 182 without any sweat and keeping the most agressive timings (2-2-2-5).. but won't go higher on my a7n8x rev 1.06 ... one thing's sure tho... you ram can go higher than 168 with the 2-2-2-5 timings.

maybe your board revision doesn't support any higher...

but I really don't know about the windows error... sorry
