Overclockers.co.uk have an impressive boast that their Corsair 700D is the cheapest in the UK at £162.98 (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/news.php#2871) Sadly this is a bit of a stretch when Scan have it for £161.81 (http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Cors...-Panel-Full-Tower-Case-3-x-140mm-fans-w-o-PSU) Maybe Scan cheekily undercut them, or not?
Companies undercut each other all the time. Scan don't always have the cheapest. Sometimes it's OCUK, others it's Scan, others Aria or CCL. I check them all and simply order from where is cheapest, as I trust all of the companies I mentioned.
I've bought a few things from Aria tbh only because they were the only one's with the thing I wanted, After sale's is piss poor though. Overcockers I wouldn't believe them is they said day was light and night was dark.
I usually only buy from Scan & Ebuyer (& sometimes CCL but I don't like their website) because when you factor in £10 for delivery it's almost always the cheapest.
OCUK Forums have dispicable rules and enforcements Seeing as Bit-tech is the official forum for Scan and CCL, I'll let you do the maths as to which of the three is the best to use
OcUK Forums are enormous though.. its not rare to see 1000+ members logged in with even more guests. A very busy forums indeed. Can you imagine bindi with his hammer in there? He would wear it out! Andy
And there is a few of them on the forum that kiss the owners ass and anything else thats hanging out, And he reckons that when it come's to the forum and the shop "he's god" his words not mine.
Aren't OcUK the ones who if you complain about customer service they delete your topic and Perm ban you?
I've never even been close to ordering from them simply because there prices are that competitive... Glad I haven't, sounds like a right douche.
Yep thats the one. His cronies got me banned because I called them a bunch of sudo windbags and they reminded me of a bunch of old queens But that was in responce to what happend to the son of a friend that got ripped off and complained and was banned.
Scan have never let me down so far and with free delivery they're often the cheapest. I buy pretty much everything from them unless somewhere else has it significantly cheaper.
We give free delivery! The current site is well known to be quite weak when compared to the competition, why we have been working on a shiny new one that is 1000x better. Will be going live in the near future, keep your eyes out.
It will be live soon enough, keep everyone in suspense until the moment arrives. We wont release it until we think it is ready and in a position where it is better than our current site in everyway. Once it is live we will continue to improve on it, just a much better base to build on.
We're aware of a number of people/customers who agree with you. The new site will improve customers experience no end. We'll then be cutting edge again like we used to be. Game on
I would love to offer some advice there, but even when you use the search daily it can still catch you out. All I can say is the new website is a thousand times better for finding items, its a lot quicker even on a development server, it looks a lot nicer and is a lot simpler for new customers to use. For the meantime if people are struggling to find items just post in the CCL section on Bit-Tech and we will link you up (providing we can find them...). Just be sure to keep an eye on our site, the new one will be quite impressive when it goes live and we get everything running 100%. EDIT:- Beaten to it by Mikey!
