As tempted as I am by the current deal on the Oculus Rift... I have two problems:

First, it's linked to Facebook, which is an automatic no-no. I avoid Whatsapp like the plague for the same reason, despite the fact that it would help me stay in contact with some family now I'm the other side of the world.

Second, the price hasn't dropped in Japan. At all. (Unless I'm looking in the wrong places... I still don't know the best computer places here...)

So, chances are, either PSVR or HTC will get my money, when I do finally get around to actually buying one to experiment with.

Https://shop.oculus.com/ is probably your best bet, shows as 50000 yen when changing to that (no clue what shipping is as they keep it secret until checkout), unlike everywhere else where they either want the "normal" 80000+ or only have the Vive.

IIRC, Oculus ship for for free regardless of what you order, as long as you;re in one of the countries they ship to (i.e. it's free shipping or no shipping).
