    Yay thank god! Its a fast drive but it was lacking in that area!

    That update process is complete ball ache though, no? Not even half that bad for other SSDs.

    How come Crucial and others can make firmware updates that are non-destructive and work under AHCI but OCZ can't? That info puts me right off their drives even before I try them.

    if you just got it in, can you check it's real-world performance before and after the update? (assuming it has not been updated before you got it)
