OK... Turned off my puter last night to go to sleep and found that my optical mouse was still glowing even though the computer was off... What could be the problem??? I just got a new mobo and am wondering if that could be it..... (EPoX 8K3A+)

My optical mouse also stays on, and it's connected via PS2

Yup, some mobos will still give power to the keyboard/mouse to alert it to wake on keypress/click.

Mine does it.. looks kinda cool at night. :)

On most machines, unless the power is completely disconnected the PSU and mother baord will continue to hold a charge (and the PSU for longer after it is disconnected as well).

My Epox 8kha+ does that. You could always flic the switch on the PSU or buy a RF corless moyuse that runs on batteries. I assume that your keyboard does the same if your running ti on PS2?

Just struck me as odd... nice to know its the same on other peoples puters... the keyboard LEDs turn off...... and its a USB mouse converted to a PS2 cable w/ the green converter that everyone loves :)

It kinda bugs me, so i'll search in bios and change it :) but thanks everyone....
