I have an odd issue with my display. When running certain prorgams I will randomly have a strange display error. Some times it appears at the top, most of the times it appears in the bottom left side of the screen. I seems to only appear when browsing the web. How can I test the GPU to see if it is the source?

    I would try the following.
    1. Check all interconnects are firmly inserted and secure (cables)
    2. Reinstall the graphics.drivers from scratch (Delete the old ones, do a clean install of the new)
    3. Check all other drivers, chipset audio etc oh and bios
    4. Try new cables to pc
    5. Reseat the graphics card
    6. Test card in another machine

Issat Chrome? Chrome does *exactly* the same thing on my Linux desktop (AMD APU, Omega Catalyst proprietary driver bundle). 'Solved' it by going into Chrome's options and turning hardware acceleration off.

I have upgraded from win7 to win10 and in my memory the problem existed across both OS so I thought it may have been a hardware problem. No other computers to try it on. I don't know anyone in the UK with a desktop computer.

It may be chrome related. The trouble is I don't know what triggers it so I can't try to replicate it in FF.
