    Hey guys,

Is there any way to turn off the blue visual theme thing in office 2007 to make it look "normal" (like win2k) style?
Also what's with the blurry text thing going on? It's like clear type is permanently on. It's fuzzy and hurts my eyes :/
Is there a way to turn it off?

    Thankies :thumb:

Office button -> Word Options -> color scheme.

I don't know of a way to switch it back, but Microsoft does have a site that tells you where to find various options.

Scroll down to the "More ways to experience the new user interface" section, and select the program you're using under the "Want a classic view?" heading.

Ahh cheers nath. Thats even got the clear type thing in there. Thank god my eyes no longer feel like they are about to start bleeding.
Shame the theme can't be totally off though as I really do hate themes.
I did look in that menu before but I never saw those options. I guess I really wasn't looking hard enough.

The blue is great but the black frikkin ROCKS. I can't live without O2k7 now, it's got so many useful features over 2k3.

You may think the blue is great but I hate theming of any kind on my applications. Im "one of those" that prefers the win2k/95 style and functionality. I just find theming tens to bog down applications with needless memory and resource usage.

I guess at the end of the day it's one of those, you like it or you don't, things.
