Well, its A level results day, I just got accepted to study Music and Popular Musics at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Congrats though, I have several close friends still at Manchester Met and they say its a good place. Just don't go spending all your loan on beer and pot noodles. ****ing students

Me too. One thing I did notice is that time passed very quickly, so keep up with the good work, or else you'll and at the end of the course.

Im a final year student studying computer & network technology

its a good laff. and make sure you know the SU is £1:00 a pint after 8pm every night

 

do you need your card to get in? Im just across the way at man uni and our SU charges about £1.50 but then again it is premium beer.

 

Yep, just got accepted back to Southampton to do an MSc in Web Technology. Really happy.

Hehe, which campus is that though? My course is Manchester met, but at Crewe. I've belayed the place until '08, so that gives me time to sort things out. If I can make connections I might try and find a house share or something. Short of that I'll be in dorms.

 

Switched from University of Waterloo to Ryerson University this year. They're in Ontario.

 

Got accepted into the Cardiff business school (CARBS, awesome name) on an Accounting degree, changed over from Engineering because I'm shite at maths. It's one of the best business schools in the country apparently, had to wait for the A-level results to see if I could nick someone's place who didn't make the grade.

 

As long as you have any uni card they should let you in, My mates from bristol have shown there uni card and theres no problems.

and its free to get into the bar, at the top, but on event nights they can charge/

 

I've been accepted to Bristol for a MChem Chemistry course, very happy!

My sister got in to Mancs (the proper one, not that Met rubbish like guitar ), doing Art History.

 

hippie: i juts got accpeted to bristol uni for MEng (Mechanical). Which halls you in? when do we get told?

 

Applied to Wills/Hiatt Baker, I think we find out on the 29th of August, or perhaps a day or two later.

Doesn't seem to matter so much now that I know i've got my place!

I just got into Bristol doing Aeronautical Engineering (Meng), I think we find out which halls we get in the next couple of weeks or so, now that they know exactly who's going to be coming and who isnt, I went for Goldney hall because it seemed like a nice place.
