    Did you happen to start with a dull saw? I know it can drag if you do... I nearly bought myself a pack of them today, but I have no copper to work with. So I left them at HF.

    :worried: Anyone reading the tags?
    @Bill - OOf! If I had known it would be that tight, I would have ported the top different.
    @Gnu - Thanks.:D
    @Kayin - Nah. they are just that fine. A tiny bit of copper grit is all it takes. To make matters worse, the saw is bigger around than the mill's pulleys. NOTE TO ME: Don't try to mill 1/8" deep with one ever again!

    OK, this should be the last business post from me. From now on, I'm a spectator too.:D

    -I polished up 6-32 stainless steel mounting screws using my "lathe." The trick is to spin the drill up and wetsand the head until you finger lights like a match.
    [IMG]
    -I had a horrible time getting sandpaper inside the channels, so there's still signs of milling. Fortunately, water does wonders for covering that up.
    [IMG]
    -I soaked the guts down in glycol for the night. I need some flathead screws from the store and I'll be ready to ship this out. I'm leaving the copper base un-lacquered. It seems to tarnish less if I just leave it lightly waxed.
    [IMG]
    -See.:naughty: If you get the channels wet, the ugly goes away.

    -Here's one last pic to give a rough idea of the real color. The flash makes this stuff really bright for some odd reason. It's standard light blue plexiglas, BTW. I think I forgot to mention that one.

    @Darth - The screws are probably longer than you need. Expect some dremel duty.

    Have you ever met or heard about John Hanlon? I have a special treat for those of you who never met the man.

    You can download Mod Brothers Podcast with John Hanlon as Special Guest in 2009, here or subscribe in iTunes here.

    TMB Podcast includes Host, Kyle Van Der Merwe (kyledvm) with guests Craig Brugger (aka craigbru) and myself. We talked about PC & Case Modding in every episode. ...Cheapskate has made guest appearances in other episodes! :D

    Bill, your threads always manage to rekindle my interest in modding.

    Not sure if I ever mad much contact with John, but seeing everyone get involved in this project got me thinking about how I could pitch in. I'm a unemployed college student so I don't have money to give. What I DO have is a working knowledge of rainmeter coding and design.

    You guys seem to have it covered in terms of hardware, but as best I can tell the system will still ship out with a stock install of windows. I could make a theme-fitting rainmeter suite to package with the system, I'm thinking something along the lines of a bald-eagle launch bar.

    PM me if you want more info.

    @Yougotkicked - Neat idea. -Hey! A major selling point could be the lack of Dill/Comquack/APPle bloatware.:D

    @Noobneb - Oh, good. I thought I was hallucinating.

    Block is lubed up, taped up, wrapped up, and shipped up... To Darth.

    I need to know if the grill needs to be a regular style or rad grill style so i can make them, and also need the address im shipping them to :)

    120 and 240 still? Do i need to send the R4s also? They look AWESOME with the blue acrylic, i have one sitting in my PC right now :)

    Hey Bill, can you make those feet out of acrylic without the knurls?
