I don't care if they sponsored it or not, that's some damn fast replying!
Hey that's great-WAIT. We have to wait for the Post Office again?
I hope Cheaps blocks fit next motherboard too.
r they there yet !!!! lol. I now we just sent a load of gear to PPC and they got it with in three days from the UK. I checked with steve who sends out all our orders and he said they had gone but ill double check again today see what happening.
yes I have everything the hold up was the mobo had two dead RAM slots. drove 9 hours yesterday doing a hardware exchange with a buddy, now I have a Gigabyte mobo in my hands again going upstairs to test it, if it works then I will have the build done by end of day tomorrow
Mick i received one shipment last week.
getting pump ready, installing fittings
will use a diff camera, got it back from the shop . . .damn camera phone
The LEDs in that top should be blue, just like the top. A bit of extra bling.
I just love what this project has created; Someone can't get a system to POST, and people from the four corners of the globe jump up to help. It's not often something like this happens.
Glad to see the system pulling together, it should be quite stunning when it's all put together.
CPU block is a little too large the base hits the caps near the socket so I am going to look for a small piece of copper to use as a shim.
When Cheaps made the water blocks for H2O-C7, I sent him a duplicate motherboard and he fitted it exactly. Not an option for this build.
He was concerned about these caps.
Modding is about overcoming obstacles not having everything fit and work perfect out of the box. I love his block and pump top . . .they will look sechy. I have some nice Arctic Silver Thermal Glue which will make a copper shim work as well as the block on its own
I just frikkin love those fittings! I'm actually quite anoyed I didn't make them first!
DAMN... Just Damn... That's damn near mesmerizing!
looks fantastic, love the shiny...ness
Aw crap. I had a feeling this might happen. Some boards the caps are short enough, some not.
I shipped a load of tiny O-rings to pad the pump mount discreetly.
