LOL... I know; I'm just trying to find ways to help even if the RAM is not compatible with the HW being used on the build.

I was telling Cheap that i have 4 new blue R4 fans that id like to donate and would like to make grills to go with them. If they are single mounted fans i can make ones to just cover the single fans, but if they are mounted on a rad, this is what that looks like

I can make up to a 360 grill (like this or wider for mounting a rad with) with the continuous design. If there is a theme i would like to match the design or at least the colors. Cheap did mention he thought it would be 'red white and blue'.

that would be awesome. I think we are mounting a 240 rad internally so having an internal grill would be great will look to see what other fans we need. Blue I bet would go well

I just love auto suggestions in Firefox. Only have to type part of a word and it fills in rest! :duh:
Someone should have tested this a little more. :sigh:

Bill's really swamped right now and he asked me to post relevant stuff.
    -Earlier, I glued together a big 4" x 1" brick.
-Of course, It needs a transparent window to see the condition of the copper, so I had to shave the opaque white down to 1/16 of an inch. That got messy fast. The fly cutter can really throw plastic around.
-The first pass is in 3/8" I had to use this bit because it's the only one that can cut more than 3/4" deep.
-1/8" pass. I'm keeping this one simple. Just a side to side flood across a big slotted plate.
-This is after the last session with a 3/32" bit. Next I use all the little holes to drill the mounting points.
...and run the vacuum. Seriously, that was messy. I should have some copper ready to mill tomorrow.

Last water block you made for me was during a hurricane with no electricity! Most excellent. My thanks.

@John - Cut manually too.
@Waynio - Really easy, actually. The tough part was that cutting left to right tossed hot plastic string at my face.
    @Nutman - Thanks.:D

Do you recycle your acrylic shavings into glue?

Back when I was seriously into plastic model cars, we would make a great filler by simply adding pieces of the plastic sprue into bottles of liquid cement. You could make it as thick as you needed. plastic bondo! stayed on forever.
