First BP in the Gulf of Mexico, now this: http://www.timeslive.co.za/africa/article513812.ece/Red-Sea-oil-cover-up edit:
If you are going to get upset about oil in Africa, you should focus on the Niger delta. Although this has been an ongoing problem, your use of all caps certainly did get me wringing my hands uncontrollably. If you had used more than one exclamation mark, I probably would have died. I appreciate your restraint.
What i find odd is the amount of disasters and strange events that have been happening during these last few months, this includes oil leaks that are something i thought would be a rare event and would easily be contained using current technology. Is this better?
Emotions are very difficult to understand when one is using electronic devices as a method of communication. This is also the serious board so yes, i agree that the title should also be serious and not a synonym of "cruise control for cool". In Portugal we say something that translates loosely to: "By playing (tugging chains) you say the truth", and you did say the truth, i hope the event was not traumatic. And yes, i am "having a tug at your chain".
We learn new things every day, even if we do not notice it... by the way, out of curiosity, what did i teach you? I would like to know so that i can also learn and improve.
The Portuguese phrase you shared. I love learning little cultural nuggets like that. (I also learned that I can still bring a serious discussion thread to it's knees with my own personal curiosities)
If you collect enough of it, once the economy gets back on track and oil re-spikes to $150+ per barrel you can sell it for a profit.
