Perfect, although I would get a different HDD, Hitachi ones are notoriously noisy.

Are you planning on using the stock CPU cooler (I assume it comes with one)? No reason you shouldn't unless you're planning any major overclocking or want to keep things quiet, but its one of those things that I usually forget to factor in until later.

Yeah i think so, I may overclock but not a huge amount. Thanks for the advice Elton, I'll have another look at that to see what's available.

See no major problems, Silverpower is good but Corsair are better
for HDD - Go for the Spinpoint F1 also in Scan, faster and reliable, reasonably quiet
Scan have been ripping people off for so long when it comes to RAM - corsair is their only flavour, try either this: http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/...DDR3-PC3-10666/1333MHz/BL2KIT25664TA1336.html or this from Overclockers UK :eeek:
    http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-165-OC
and no one who know's anything about computer's uses retail HSF willingly - noisy, cheap, ineffective and shoddy build quality do not a good cooler make, try one of these:
http://www.scan.co.uk/products/Akas...0-AM2-AM2plus)-Heat-Pipe-cooler-120mm-PWM-fan , got a gold from Bit Tech for value, cooling and all round goodness

Lol right, didn't realise the pricing was that similar, thanks for pointing out. 650W PSU still good for that?

Yes it will be fine, may want to get a bigger psu if you ever go xfire though.
