im in the mood... the mood to mod!! anyone got an idea what i could do with this case?

bearing in mind that i dont have the materials available atm to complete the window, and i need something to do with that floppy cant for the life of me think what i have covered up the old reset button using a BiT case badge :) whaaaaat can i do with that floppy drive?? something quick and easy lol i have millions of resistors, a few red LEDs, lots of fans, a nice little mobo connecting 2 usb port tho if i use that the USB 2 ports on the back of the PC do not work (the ones not directly connected to the mobo- beside the status light) could i move the status lights and USB 2 ports on that thing 2?

    Hide it away.

    :p

I still say straighten up those edges
Tidy the cables away from view?

Floppy drive... backlight it? So red glows inside. Couple of LEDs right in the back oughta do it?

Paint the chassis internally with some nice, shiny color.

1- Paint the inside gloss black & paint the bezel to match
2- put some nice molding around the window
    3- sleeve the psu cables
4- put a ducted blow-hole in the front
5- take some sandpaper to the case to remove the paint it looks like you missed (esp the creases)

    Easy!

Local auto parts store. You can get inexpensive door molding which will do the trick...

Um, not unless you're in the US. If you are, I just bought a 25' spool for 17 bucks at Jameco.

I mean like where the side panel and the top panel meet. To me it looks like there's still a bunch of paint in there :/

Actually, I'm trying to do that with my current mod. There's a special paint kit / tecnique that will put a rust effect on a project.

Did 2 PSU's for about £5 with the stuff from rs.

    Heatshrink £1.73 1.2m (170-6406)
    Braiding £2.72 5m (389-886)

You could make it quieter by ducting the processor :)

That's 33cent a sheet walmart craft foam stuff (it looks rough because black duct tape was the best thing i could find to join it together) . But it made my comp quiet enough to leave it on all the time. :)
