ok so all my parts for the build came, overall im very happy except for the antec high current pro being purple :( can anybody reccomended a black 750 watt psu ?

But my main question is, is it worth voiding the warrenty on my xfx hd6970's for watercooling? I mean is there anyway i could wreck the gpu doing it? :/ they sit like 5mm away from each other in the case so i think watercooling would be best. Im just scared lol. and i cant seem to get the wee stickers off :O

and also if i have a 360rad up top 60mm thick with 3x120's pushing attached, will it fit in the haf-x with corsair vengence? and would i get better temps if i also had the two 200mm's exhausting ?

need everyones help asap, need to get the rest of my parts ordered,
    Thanks guys, Luke

As with anything like that you COULD wreck the GPU doing it. It all comes down to your confidence. If you're REALLY not happy about doing it and know you would completely mess it up (because only you know what you're really like with things like this) - then maybe have someone who knows how to do it help you?
I tried helping a friend with their watercooling and I totally botched it, they knew what to do - they do it more than me, but wanted some help with odd bits.
But all was well in the end. For him atleast. I was short a few £££ haha. But it was totally my fault for not concentrating and takingmy time.

TAKE YOUR TIME and read up as much as you can on it and you should be fine.

and Low profile vengeance should be fine. :)

    1) Corsair AX750 is black enough.
    2) Yes, any aftermarket cooler installation voids your warranty, but of course only if they find out :). Which most times they don't, i am not sure they even try to dissasemble the cards. My 5870 RMA's (used only with stock cooler) were solved everytime by replacing it by another card.

would that psu be realiable enough for a 2600k and 2 hd6970's? also i did think about that man, but xfx were smart enough to put the stickers on the bracket :O

Corsair AX750 = Seasonic X-750/760 = one of the best power supplies currently on market. It probably handles even overload... Not sure how big load those two HD6970's make, 2600K at max load used 200W @ 1.4V Vcore in my computer, so you have spare 550W for your graphics cards. But there is AX850 just in case you want to get a bigger one.

Oh by the way, they have a passive mode when load is too low (<20%). And they are 80Plus Gold.

Tis easy, just take your time and follow the EK guide and you'll be fine :)

And that HAF X is just like the HAF 932 I believe, so that RAD setup will be fine.

I think an 850W PSU would be your best bet with the 6970's. You'd rather have more headroom to accommodate future oc attempts. As for those tiny stickers, a little bit of WD40 should help, obviously being careful not to get any of the PCB/components :).
