The thing about "good" stereo systems is they add weight. Try to find lightweight components and remember that you don't need a giant subwoofer or very powerful amp to have good audio quality.

Is the DVD player there so you can watch movies while on the autocross track?

I'd personally gut the interior and replace the side windows with lexan but then I'm a bit of a nut.

Exactly. Don't stick to "more / bigger is better". As far as a DVD player, why? Seriously, what's the point? I can see it if you have kids and go on road trips, but other than that, there's no real point. It's very illegal to drive and watch a movie, that's why OEM installs will disengage any front displays if the car is in gear. Also, imo, I would do suspension / engine / exhaust modification before throwing all the money into all those asthetic mods. Why have a car that's all show and no go?

So, no DVD, and also, smaller audio system, no subwoofer, as it adds to weight, and yes, I will gut the interior, and make the windows lexan. Plus, to lower the weight even more, I will get a convertible (with a roll bar of course). Plus, with a convertible, it is top down fun. I will also install Koni Adjustable Shocks, a high performance muffler and exhaust, and later on, since I want to save on insurance, I will be putting in a turbocharged V8, in 5 or so years.

I said Roll Bar, didn't I?!?! Gosh! I like convertibles also, because it makes it more fun. And, also, when I said Turbo, I meant Twin Turbo. :D

Lol. Not Illegal Street Drag, tho. Anyways, I am not going to ask you guys for any more help on this subject. I am going to do as I please, I have made up my mind. I am getting a 1993 Ford Mustang 5.0 Convertible, with Sparco Racing Seats, Momo Commando Steering Wheel (Red/Black), Red/Black MOMO Combat EVO Shift Knob, Flamed Gauge Faces and AC Knobs, Lamborghini style flip up doors (they actually make kits for those), Convertible Top hard deck cover, rear wing, 5" Cowl Induction hood with ram air intake kit, a modified exhaust system, Koni Adjustable Shocks with Springs, and front and rear swaybars, plus a little later, twin turbochargers. Oh yeah, and it will be black with flames (hot, literally, as I live in a hot dry climate. Oh well. There's always AC, and the option of climate control on the seats that you can get).

When muscle meets rice, a part of the collective soul of car guy's all over the world dies...

So when do you plan to tell your dad this is the car you'll be getting?

Ok. Those will go. But are you so sure that the Lambo style Doors and the flames are rice? I always thought that muscle car freaks liked flames, and I also think that the Lambo style doors are a classic that all car enthusiasts would love.
