I don't know how I forgot in my first post - Boondock Saints Bloody excellent movie if you can find it - very limited distribution.
I now love both yoo and Ron Weasley! 1. STAND BY ME (Slightly obvious if yoo kno my ocuk name) 2. THE LION KING 3. either MY GIRL or SNEAKERS (I love River in that film!)
Yes, I liked My Girl too, perhaps for different reasons (the girl-actor was my first 'ooh purdy girl' ). But The Lion King? havent you seen any film in what 5 years (or whenever it was shown), there have been thousands of films, hundreds of which are better than the Lion King (I'm saying this while eating rasberry ripple Ice-Cream out of my sisters Lion King bowl )
The characters, the songs (they fit perfectly) the humour, the love, the lion king was quite possibly one of the biggest disney films of all time. To me its part of my childhood (i'm currently in the teenage turning into a young lady part of my life) and I still love it to this day, my favourite bit being where can yoo feel the love tonite plays whilst simba n nala fall in love rolling down a hill before licking eachothers faces off
My three fav. films of all time are... (in no particular order), 1. The Shawshank Redemption. 2. The Crow. 3. Pulp Fiction. Rob.
Oh chuff me I forgot Leon... damn that deserves to be in my list. OK who made me pick three? You're banned LOTR, Fight Club, Gladiator, T2, American Beauty, Payback (very clever, most will disagree with me on this one I think!) all deserve a mention as great films I'd watch any number of times... just that smidgin away from making the list though... Rob. EDIT:: Damn me! American History X, how could I forget that film? Slightly jaded by the annoying T2 kid but despite that a cracking film... should probably be in my top 3. So we have, 1. Shawshank 1.5 Leon 2. The Crow 2.5 American History X 3. Pulp Fiction Anyone accusing me of cheating will be in trouble...
American History X is one of those moview you really have to see. You might not like it. You might not feel lovely inside afterwards, but you HAVE TO SEE IT. Here's my list of movies you HAVE TO SEE: Schindler's List American History X Shawshank Redemption Saving Private Ryan Full Metal Jacket
i though payback was a great movie.... hmm...so earlier i said the profesional (or leon as most of you call it) shawshank has to be on my list...as it appears to be for alot of others..... now, number 3......hmmmmm....how do you have just 3 top movies....does shawshank deserve to be ahead or behind the profesional....how the hell do you judge that....does ronan make my list..how about heat.....hell, just about any movie with pacino in it...devils advocate ranks high in my books...
The more I read, the more movies I rememeber I love. My new top three: 1/ the above posted 2/ the below posted 3/ any I may have forgotten. There
