Damn I just found a disk for the first Asus motherboard I ever bought P4P800e deluxe, XT800 gx driver as well as my favourite mobo of all time the P5K series driver. GrandPrix 2000 season disk. Feeling old lol
I have a Riva TNT gathering dust in a box somewhere and a Motorola 68040 CPU in the drawer next to me.
386/40? 30pin SIMMS? I still keep it as it floored most lower-end 486's of the time (Pretty much most things sub DX4/100), and yes, it still works (DOS 6.22/Win 3.11 boot). I threw out the Apricot Xen Xi (PC Compatible 286 8Mhz, 512KB, Monochrome) I had not too long ago...
I've got both those motherboards, the P4P800 has just been decommissioned from my NAS now it's destined to be used in a Debian development box.
I have an Amiga 1200. The C64 is in the loft, in it's original box in it's original cellophane wrapping IN the box and the original, official, tape deck is with it also in it's original box. Somewhere at my sisters I have a 3DO in it's original box too. Flashback cheesecake As far as PC goes I still have a release day copy of 'The 11th Hour' somewhere.
I have two GTX570, an Auzentech Bravura and 6TB of HDs lying around oh wait, those are parts I CAN'T USE BECAUSE MY F@%#? PSU DIED AGAIN
I upgrade parts pretty frequently. And I keep all the boxes in one cupboard. If i've upgraded I normally sell but occasionally I forget. Quite fun finding old AM2, DDR2 motherboards. Found my first graphics card there a while ago, a lovely 4670...
Oldest thing I have is a P4 CPU! I kept it because it was in the first computer I ever owned (all to myself)
I have an atari 520st at my mums house I think, along with a snes. I used to have a zx spectrum and the old slot loaded atari with the rotary paddle controller but they're long gone. I do have a palitoy merlin in the loft, not really computer gear though.
Wow and that p4p800e was a solid board. I must look in the loft to see if I still have it , doubt it though.
I think my sister has one but I do have the one which came before it, the first one. The one made from decidedly dodgy looking brown chipboard lol Came with twisty paddles instead of joysticks at first. This one Since others are getting thrown up, there is (in a random multitude of boxes) Atari VCS Spectrum+ Dragon 32 C64 Amiga 1200 NES SNES Master System (1+2) Mega Drives (2x1 and 2x2 lol) Panasonic 3DO PSX 4 Gameboys. Pretty sure there's more but I haven't rooted through it in ages. I really must.
