That kit has been sitting in my drawer for ages and I'm about to set up a mATX system based on a P4-2.533 and an Intel i865 board. Thus this sytem would not be overclocked.

Do you reckon that old kit migth do the job?

I have the old Aquarius II in my box right now, cooling my cpu and my graphics card (with a koolance waterblock not included). My friend put it together wrong and couldnt get it to work, so I bought everything off of him for $40.

My only problems were with the rad; it had 3 different leaks on the pipes themselves, and plumbing solder wouldnt do the trick. I ended up buying a new one, which works like a charm.

Also, it could just be mine, but the bearings in the pump seem to have loosened up and have a wicked rattle now. I drilled a hole in the top of the pump above the flow balls to remove them, and it also enable me to fill the system without the included ugly-ass-perfume-bottle-style reservoir.

As far as cooling, my mobo is kinda budget/ghetto and has no temp sensors (that work anyway) but it performs better now I'd say than it did on air cooling.

    My system is a p4 2.6 and a geforce fx 5200 128mb, btw.

Edit: Oh, and I'm not using the cooling fluid that came with it, I have a distilled water / automotive coolant mixture.

It should work fine. People don't give it as much credit as it deserves IMO even if it's not the best performer.

Always knew it would come in handy. I had it cooling a 1.2 Tualatin so its a bit of a step up! (from 29.9W to 69.1°C in the s-specs)
