It is a good game but there's no multiplayer for the PC version.

Don't really care that much as long as the single player holds up. Anyone know how long it is? For £7.50 I'm very tempted by quite.. scared of it "only" being that price given it was out just a few months ago. Did it really bomb?

I was naughty and aquired a copy when it was out in the US earlier in the year and I enjoyed it a lot. Worth the £7.50

Any thought about trine? Is it worth £8.50? I played the demo and it looked like a fun game but I wasn't sure if it would just get old too quickly.

Anyone played Resi 5? Worth £15? I'm a bit sceptical about these console games...

Not directly linked to this sale but i gave into the Valve complete pack today. Already had the original half life generations (though not technially mine) and orange box for the 360 but with the recent addition of l4d2 in it and all the rest of the titles for 52.99 its such a steal.

    I lol'd.

In other news, L4D is at 47% downloaded, but the download speed is pretty similar to what I usually get, which is a surprise considering some of the earlier comments about slower downloads.

It's not. As a die hard Res Fan I couldnt finish 5. It's like Devil May Cry more than "survival horror"

It's really no survival horror, more like an RE4 action game, it's a good enough game though if you don't think about how resident evil used to be but there's not one scary bit on it ever!

It's good to play it on co op so if you have anyway to play with I'd get it. I expected it to be less than £15 cause I paid £15 for my pre order

EDIT: Waited for the timer to reach 0 and steam completely failed ^_^

    EDIT AGAIN:
    Eve Online: Apocrypha: £3.74
    Battlefield 2: Complete Collection: £7.49
    Lucidity: £1.74
    Trackmania United Forever: £9.99
Prince of Persia (new one): £9.99
    World of Goo: £4.24
    Guild Wars Trilogy: £14.99

I'm a bit confused about eve online, are you paying for an expansion or the game with a free expansion? I'm interested for £4.

EDIT: Also is Guildwars any good? I'm interested in a new MMO to play and it has no subscription fee's so it's right down my street

Everyone who doesn't already own World of Goo must go buy it now. Nuff said.

Had a blast playing BF2142 a few years back, really tempted by BF2 for £7.49. Is BF2 still fun to play, considering it's age?

It is still great and better now it has patch 1.5. I'm tempted to get it again just for the convenience of having it on my Steam account - ready patched and without the need for a disc.
