    Definitely, there's still loads of players and, thanks to awesome Swedish internet connections, there are low-ping servers :) Also Project Reality is a very interesting and popular mod for once you get bored of vanilla.

    I wanted to buy l4d 3 hours ago and Trackmania just a few minutes ago. Both times i put them into my basket and triet to actually buy, i was confronted with a login-screen and no way to log in with my username/password. Anybody seen this?

    If you are sure your account hasn't been hacked, it is probably down the the servers being rammed. Whenever a new sale comes out the Steam store goes a bit funny.

    i was going to get trackmania, until I found that you can get it at 9.99 or cheaper elsewhere.
    so i'll save my download limit.

    Or you can get Trackmania Nations for free - you only get one car / track style but IMO it's the best one from Forever (keyboard control and graphics wise).

    I'm tempted by BF2, but I'm going to see if anyone I know still plays it.

    My internet is gonna take a serious hammering when my PC arrives... Started with a couple of regular mid-week or w/end sales in preparation for my new PC (stuck in "awaiting eta" hell) and then the one-day sale started.

    Pics a bit small, basically 22 of the 36 there are from the last 3 weeks, and all 36 will need installing in a week or so. Poor router...

    Edit: was having a browse elsewhere on the Steam store and is it just me or does it look like POP Sand of Time has been marked down from £0.99 to £4.99...?

    i have got the THQ pack which seems great as i have been meaning on getting some of them for a while (dawn of war 1+2), the problem has been persuading the misses that i need them :s but who can argue when its at that price
