    Any online games,ones you pay for ones that are free etc.

    Runescape is good but it gets borring after a while,my mate says that half life 2 is very hard and confusing and he's very smart(i think) well thats all i know how about you lot??

    Counter Strike: Source - FPS Online, 2 Teams (terrorists and Counter Terrorists) battle it out. with different objectives, e.g. Rescueing(sp?) hostages.
    Day of Defeat: Source - FPS Online, 2 Teams (Axis and Allied) WW2 based, fighting for dominance of different maps. by capturing flags
    Those 2 are both Half Life 2 Mods, There are other Mods for HL2 but not as good. e.g. Dystopia: Source

    Guild Wars - Once only payment, MMORPG, Good PvPing.
    Anarchy Online - Completley Free, or you can buy expansions for monthly payments, good gameplay.

    I used to play this last year and was apparently going to free for a limited time (a year I think), have they removed the limit?

    Now I mainly play Counter-Strike: Source and occasionally Guild-Wars.

    nothing confusing abot half life 2, i suggest you find out what your mate means as its a fantastic game if youve never played it, but its not really an online game. if you want a online fps then i highly reccommend battlefield 2.

    yeh i agree half life 1 & 2 are just brilliant, counterstrike source is an amazing onlin game, and it comes with half life 2 when you buy it. :D

    They were so impressed with the amount of new customers on it they extended the deadline till January 2007, and its changed quite a bit.

    waaaaay too much training though, i tried it a few years ago and i just got so bogged down by all the training you had to do to get to the actual game.

    Unreal Tournament 2004 - great single player, and multiplayer, if you like fast shooters.

    Call Of Duty: United Offensive - good online play as well. CoD2 isn't bad, but it's a console port, so the online gameplay is, how shall I say, not challenging.

    What's the point of this thread anyway? Are you looking for games to play, or want to know what anyone here plays? Or just start a religious war of some form (e.g. Quake vs Unreal)?!

    Guild Wars - MMORPG with no monthly subscription fees

    Soldat - Free 2D shooter, Google it for more info

    Any Command & Conquer game is always great online

    Thats all I can think of at the moment, hope these help.

    I love Tribes and tribes 2, cs, and played neverwinter nights (D&D based rp game) for a year or so, cant wait for nwn2 :)

    dunno what you mean there, you can get dods if you buy half life 2, it just costs you money, its not free.

    I was saying, if you buy HL2 on a CD/DVD you dont get DoD:S you get CS:S and HL2 Deathmatch, you gotta pay seperatley for DoD:S, but you can buy a CD/DVD that has CS:S and DoD:S on but no HL2 :)
