The demotivator thread is taking over the site. Be afraid.

I think that it is pretty rubbish excuse really. "E3 is a retail-oriented conference" and your product is aimed at who exactly?
I reckon it just isn't living up to the hype!

Atleast the Dead Rising team had a good excuse. OnLive is a failure waiting to happen..

Probably OnLive aren't showing because they don't actually have anything to show?

    Swine Flu ?

That is the lamest excuse I have ever heard for a company not wanting to attend E3. Seriously..... what a cop out. Atleast be honest and just admit you have nothing to show.

Gamers are cynical enough to bitch about input lag on their LCD's, can you imagine how we'd react to something that takes your input, uploads it to a central server, which then does the processing and finally sends the resulting image back, plus LCD input lag of course? It might work for java style games or games like RTS, Sim where you arent going to scream out in fury by having everything delayed half a second.

The thing is, its not just like a ping of a second, its like a ping of a second down your mouse cable.
I would love them to get it to work, I really would but currently I am very skeptical.

The Swine Flu is just an excuse. I think that everyone knows that.

Input Lag? I thought it was the lack of IPS panels that pissed gamers off...

Oh wait it is input lag.

...the first beta test under real world circumstances will show that, until now it's just an IDEA, which sounds nice, though, but there are lots of ideas that sound interesting but fail when it comes to real world.

I don't think it's going to be that big a deal. If it was, G-cluster would have been huge by now.
