Probably a song by Frank Sinatra - the greatest voice ever. Maybe after a lifetime of listening to one of his songs I could get close to his level of perfection.

Sinatra > Chuck Norris > God, btw.

Actually I might consider "The Last Letter Home" by the Dropkick Murphys as well.

    Ye man great track

I did think about a rat pack tune, or Robert Miles: Children, but Sultans would be it :)

Foo Fighters - Everlong, because I can... I'd also make sure it's an acoustic version.

Either Thin Lizzy - Don't believe a word, or Nightwish - The Poet and the Pendulum. Probably the latter.

    Oooh. Great choice!

Personally I think I'd either pick motherfarker=redeemer by GY!BE, simply because it's over 30 minutes of joy, or Ritornare, by Ludovico Einaudi. The latter is one of 6 songs in my large music collection which I've given a 5 star rating, and my favourite among them.

A lot of (live) ambient performances are, technically, one very longsong. So I'd pick one of those.

Tim McGraw - I like it, I love it (I want some more of it).

    (this isn't ironically sarcastic btw)

Six Degrees of Inner Turbulance by Dream Theater, because a) it kicks serious ass and b) it's 45 minutes long.

Honestly? I thought that was one of the weaker songs on the album. I always skip the pointlessly dreary and long outro, and simply can't get over the fact that Tuomas is arrogant enough to mention himself by name in the song. It totally removes the ability to apply the lyrics to anything other than him. Pah.

NIN, All the I could have been, Acoustic (Live).

EDIT: No! Johnny Cash - Hurt. NIN Cover that he does Acoustic. I would learn to play it if it was my only song.

    Excellent, probably my second choice.

First is probably Joy division - Atmosphere

Actually anything by Joy Division will do, even Love will tear us apart.
