i read about that psu. dont remember the link. they said it was nice. however one thing they said was that the mobo connectors had clips to preven them from coming out. however the molex connectors did not have these. it was still hard for them to come out though. but yeah i would like to have one also but my wallet is crying from an insurance payment.

Not worth the money IMO. I also wonder how loud it is. I switched to an Antec "True" PSU from a crappy stock one from a Cheiftec case, and I can't believe that I ever could put up with the noise from my crappy PSU.

I dont find that its a pricy PSU. most regual 450Watt are worth from 50 to 100$ (not talking about cheap ass ones) This one for 130$ is a 500watt + its shinny and has its plug-in feature + its auto fan speed control

I think its well worth its 130$ but that just me

    It's a nice PSU, but $130? :eyebrow:

looks pretty nice, now if they had 90degree molexes, and that plug-in thinger, it'd be inside my computer :D

and with that, I get a custom title!

actually i really like that, the modular design is really good.

tbh unless you kept plugging and unplugging the power connectors ir wouldnt really make a difference if it didnt have clips as the fit would be tight.

I really like the idea of the unpluggable power leads! Just wonder how quiet it really is...

could be easily done i think,
just need some more molex connectors a soldering iron etc.

its a great design and I bet loads of new PSU will use it.

you're right, that's purdy, i want one! I agree tho, 130 is alot for a PSU and it probably wouldn't be that difficult to mod a normal PSU to have plugs like that.
