Don't blame him, Isreal is basically mini America, and Bush hates Hamas, I wonder why he thinks that?

Although I hate any country going to war (Look at Iraq, it's ****ed, the documentry on last night really pissed me off, Suni and ****'e Muslims shouting "We need Saddam back") I really hope Isreal does get what it deserves soon.

Wow i've just read two of your posts and both are pure flamebait. I do believe this is "Serious Discussion" not let's hate on people we don't agree with.

Back on topic: I find this situation a tradegy, both the sides have such different ideologies that it makes it almost impossible to sucessfully negotiate, especially when rogue groups can undo any diplomatic actions by the official governments.

Peace is brought by the blade of a sword... or the barrel of a gun in this case.

This is a serious discussion, it was my opinion. :) I'm not allowed an opinion in a serious discussion?

Hmmmm.... Let me see.... several people die when Israel attacks, trying to knock-out some artillery which has been shelling the Israeli civilian population.

Nope - no matter how hard I try, I can't really shed a tear. If I was a buddhist, I'd call it karma - what goes around, comes around.

Somebody has to unilaterally decide to stop killing the other side. Until then, let the carnage continue and the blood run free.

Problem is, it doesn't matter if the Israeli's do that because the palestinian militants don't care about dying, they care about land, water, and religion. And the Palestinian people and government's can't stop things because they don't control the militia's. Even if they were 100% with the Israeli's on stopping all the bad stuff from going down, the militamen will still fight on.

I almost hope a country like Iran gets into Palestine in a huge way. If the palestinians started looking like they were a credible threat, that they had the backing and power to do real harm to Israel, the make-shift militia's could be brought into the control of a centralised military, and with real power the palestinians would force the israeli's to form a division of the palestinian lands between the two peoples.

Failing that, if world war breaks out the entire area can pile on in on Israel, kick their ass conventionally, and then get nuked into oblivion.

Agreed, but it would require the aggressor to redraw giving the defender some space IMO.

    Both sides are wrong...

Imagine if it was your grandparents who endured the Holacaust, who were ignored by the entire world, refused asylum in anything but paltry numbers, shipped off to the Mid east and spent the next three decades fighting Every single country that borders your own.... you'd be paranoid, pissed with a list of grudges that went on and on...

On the other side we have your grandparents being kicked off their land, ignored by the entire world, refused asylum in anything but paltry numbers, spent the rest their lives having the crap kicked out of them, and manipulated by their 'Allies' into fighting a guerilla war with nothing but stones and matrydom... uh?

What can solve that? maybe one day people will finally sicken of the constant death and hardship and try for peace... I thought the final insult was shipping out Blair! We've had enough of him trashing our country thanks you want him? No? well he's coming anyway... tough
