am i alone in thinking that the non-inverting input of an op amp should really be called the "verting" input, just a thought

I've recovered! If you haven't read that book you must, it is THE funniest book ever (IMHO)! I must haev read it about 5 times now, i really am that sad!
Hmm... vert is short for convert (see Chambers) which implies a change (Latin vertere, to turn) so perhaps we should stick to the usual forms.

I almost read through the whole quadrilogy twice in two days...what makes it extra sad is that this was during my spare time in school during finals days in 10th grade.
