Went to Scan this morning spending pennies from my birthday (thank you to all none of you who wished me happy birthday :p) Picked up my Asus P8P67 and some Vengeance LP in blue ready for Xmas when I'll be gettin' my 2500k on :D (I'm too much of a povvo to get it all in one trip)
    Also got myself a
120mm Alpenfohn "The Beast" Wing Boost fan for the exhaust point of my case to tie in with the colour coding come Xmas time. Old fan was only 80mm Enermax

A 120 wont fit there, so first I removed the metal padlock tab by drilling out the 2 rivets, then I got busy with the old Dremmel and opened that hole up, I finished the edge off with a round backed file to remove the larger burrs before finishing up with some p800 paper.

The fan barely fits, it could actually be held in without those rubber screw thingys, but I put them in anyway ;)

As you can see, I also had to make minor alterations to the side panel (tickled with the Dremmel and finished up with some p1200 wrapped around a pencil) to allow it to shut properly as the rubber screw thingys got in the way.

On a minor point, as I was sanding with the pencil, I inadvertently scratched up the inside surface of the plexi :duh:
Here's the best tip I can offer to anyone with scratched up plexi-
    Autosol Metal Polish
I keep this for the chrome exhaust tip on my car (a bit anal I know) but I thought it was worth a shot.
I used the tiniest amount with a soft household duster cloth (the kind you use with Mr Sheen :D) and buffed up like a mofo.
Sure enough, its now good as new, perhaps even better.

    Just thought I'd share.
    Can't wait for Xmas now :D :D :D

Nice one, I'd consider investing in a smaller CPU cooler too. Seems to dominate the entire space...

Not worth it mate, wont fit the new board.
And I'm actually thinking about a Dark Rock Pro :D
    Now that will dominate :D
To be honest, I'm not bothered about it taking up space, that's the look I want. Small(ish) space, full of fastness :D
