I use firefox on my Android phone and tablet because it allows the use of add ons - specifically add block plus.
Interestingly I find the Chrome Browser faster and more stable but I prefer to take the hit to lose the adds.
Be interested in checking out Opera.
If sites do not take the pi*s with their adds I whitelist them on my desktop, but ads tend to kill mobile browsing - specially on devices that are slower or have smaller screens.
Using this on Windows 10 mobile is quite frustrating.
It blocks ads sure, but rarely opens anything you click on. Opera mini/speed mode has always had this problem but this version is terrible for me.
The desktop Opera now supports custom block lists, which I love.
Unlike adblock it doesn't even give every product on bit-tech a 20% score
Using it on Android and it's great. Only annoyance is that it has a visible menu at the bottom of the screen all the time eating up usable space. Have had a couple crashes, but basically loving it
