that rad would only be useful if you had a fan or fans to cover it, that would either need a really big fan or lost of little ones, in other words it would be very loud and probably wont work too well

Can I ask why you would even want a rad that big? It sure doesnt look cool, and performace wise its overkill.

Hhaha! U could just use a big ars nasty load industrial rolling fan next to it! Put a 50 gallon res on the other side! Next build a keyboard with half foot keys! 11 feet long should be good! Then a monster projection screen and your all set!

Seriously it might look cool. But its adding 1/3 size to your comp, will be up to 1/2 after you find the fan solution. Definatly will be original though!

It wouldnt be a bad idea to use that rad if you were to put it outside, like this.

@Kingston: if it does like i want it to do
    then its a passive cooling

@reKarp: the otherside is much better
    almost perfect

@Xgamer: no i want the pc to go to lan-party's
so it isnt a house mounted cooling
besides, i live @ my parents house so i just can go killing the walls like that

looks like a car intercooler :) even if you did find fans, it wouldn't work... at best performance, as the air needs to travel away after going thru the rad, it'd restrict air flow and make a heap of noise if the rad was bolted to your sidepenel/side of case

ya you could try to passive cool or like i said stick a bunch of 120 mm fans on it :D Who would care about the noise. Do it for the sheer cool factor :hip:

to get it to move you might want to put wheels on it...

If i were you, i would look for an other rad, mounting this on your case is no would ruin the looks of your case. And with 6 fans it wouldnt be silent eighter.

If you still wish to use it, i would make an schroud around it, covering the ugly motha and use some kind of dustfilter to hide it. :hip:
