Modding opinion poll: What color??

I think ima vynal dye my other pooter (moniter and keyboard too, prolly mouse) what color/color scheme you guys think would look good?

i was thinkin all black, or all black with red highlights, or all solid blue?

Lets face it, as far as cases go if it's not beige, it's black.
I'm goin with a blue myself...if I ever get around to painting! Power to the bl00!

 

Vynal dye comes in very limited colours
You may end up having to paint if you want some thing different.

 

im willing to settle for something basic.. just dont want it to be an eyesore...

 

the blue vinyl dye is kinda light and pale blue, check out linears superman case to see it applied.

 

I think (if you are artistic) a cool blue on black would be nice. Paint the edges with a very thin paint brush a blue. Glow in the dark, or UV sensitive even =). Then do the inside of the case. It will look like blue glowing panels of black =).

I've got a blue Chieftec dragon, and the only blue vinyl dye I could get was way too light... so instead I'm going to dye my drives black, as it's the next best thing. Beige sucks.

 

I just did my case/monitor mod in brass with silver buttons. It was so shiny that after painting the clear coat on in the sun my pupils had nearly closed and I could see piss all for the next 10 minutes when I went back into the house.

 

Go with the Blue. Like has already been said, loads of people do black and blue has a certain class to it anyway!:dude:

 

Couldnt you mix the blue dye with a bit of black to darken it down?

lol i need a new second desk before i need new paint.. note the 2x4 reinforcement.. and before i can afford that i need my own apartment to put it in.. heheh

I can't remember where i saw the post, but this guy did his in a mirror silver finish. It looked über k-rad.

That, with black accents and blue lights would look real nice. Throw in a blue lighted fan, and a window with a blue cathode and "you're in the butter zone baby"

 

my interior already has a reddish scheme to it (homemade red cables), plus i have a old red neon I can throw in there.. i dont know about a window though, the side is slightly curved, plus its all plastic with reinforcement ribs on the inside.. could make window mounting tricky.. i dont know if im gonna go all out on that system, it is just my second pc.. (fserv, ftp server, spare gaming system, etc)

oh..its one of THOSE. hehe. Just give it a spray paint and a light and be done with it. cut some holes in the bottom of the case, stand it up on some rubber feet, and have a nice eerie glow.

 

Hrrmm i like that idea, of the glow.. if i position the neon right, i should get a nice glow out of the front vent area too.. hrmm

I picked my colors and finished the case today, monitor comes tommorow, i dont know yet what im doing with the keyboard though, i tested on a old keyboard and the letters dont show thru, doesnt really bother me, but would look just a bit annoying..

my color choices were black and slate blue (about the dark blue used on the bit tech site.. pics should be up tommorow or friday, keep posted..

in the meantime, should i go ahead with the keyboard?

I think blue and red (superman!) is nice...also silver and red is pretty good...and DAMN that poster

 

i gave up on the monitor, all i managaged to do taking it apart was to break the stand so now it sits all low and stupid.. fought with getting that thing off to find that the place that repaired it last put it back together with security scews, and im not about to bring a drill to it.. Just leaving only the case painted for now.. i'll post pics in a bit..
