People are getting a stable 2.7GHz+ with the CABYE stepping. Of course, YMMV, but expect at least 2.6 :)

How about you try it and find out...
We could say you'll get 3ghz from it, or we could say you'd get 2ghz from it. Its all luck of the draw...

Too true. Although on average they may hit 2.7GHz, it doesnt mean they do all the time. You may be lucky and get 3GHz or be unfortunate and only reach 2Ghz.

(p.s. my money is still on 2.7GHz tho :thumb: )

Same here. 2931 to be exact on 1.45V. I'm dissapointed it wont go higher and i'm in two minds as to whether a new PSU would help as my 12v rail is drooping.

    You get yours from CPUCity?

I did, and mine's worse than that. Needs over 1.6v for 2900 exactly, so now I'm experimenting to find a nice middle ground of voltage and speed. I suspect that my 144 (CAB2E 0540 FPMW) is actually a better chip, but with the 9x multi I really can't push it as far as I'd like to with this Neo2 (the HTT runs out at 317MHz) and I don't have the cash for a PCI-E upgrade right now. Bleh...

hehe you guys almost sound dissapointed with the 2.9ghz results.
Tbh even getting 2.7ghz out of it at on air without crazy volts is stil a bloody achievement on these babies. Just look at the price/power your all getting.

2.7 isn't a big deal dude. 2.7 is easy on 3200+ venice chips. People buy opertons because we expect them to clock higher. I'd definately be miffed if i grapped an oppy and it couldn't pass the 2550 of my winchester...
