Modding Orange cathodes

    As far as I can see, they simply don't exist. But from what this guide says:

    Red cathodes are actually not red at all, either pink or orange. So, does anyone know where I can find the orange variety? I mean both 12" and 4", I need both sizes.

    I think it was here a bit that i saw an article about using white cathodes and then using film to cover it. Look for the article and then i think all you would have to do is find orange film.

    Get a UV one and spray it with a thin layer of fluorescent orange spraypaint. This is the way all cathodes work anyway but usually the glowing pigment is inside the glass instead of outside.

    There are many hreads in here about ppl complaning there red cathodes are orange and sometimes give the makers name av a look throu the theads
