Hard Drive Shipping I recently purchased two hard drives from CCL Sadly these drives were shipped in their antistatic bags in direct contact with each other. In transit this could result in very high short duration G levels being imparted to each hard drive. Seagate/Samsung recommended shipping instructions are Use original packaging when possible, such as packaging sent with Advanced Replacement Order: Enclose each drive in an ESD (electrostatic discharge) bag, in an anti-static plastic shell (SeaShell) or anti-static bubble wrap. Secure each unit in 2 inch-thick foam rubber in a corrugated box. Do not use popcorn, peanuts, bubble wrap or newspaper. If packaging more than one drive, use a separate container for each drive. Western Digital state: Hard drives can be damaged by excessive physical force or from Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Do not stack hard drives Sadly CCL customer service was very unhelpful and I have been disadvantaged as a result of this order. If you are buying more than one hard drive you may want to consider how you chosen supplier will ship your hard drives.
Would it be possible for you to PM your order number to me please? CCL have specialised packaging, cardboard boxes with impact foam designed to encase the hard drive and let it survive the stress of the UK couriers. These should be used with a single drive. We also have packaging suitable for large volumes of drives we use on orders of 4/5+. If you can provide your order number I will look into this for you.
Thank you PM doesn’t work as a newbie to this forum. Would you like to PM alternative contact details. Your post states how you ship a single hard drive and 4 or 5+ hard drives. My problem relates to the shipping of 2 hard drives. You do not mention how CCL would ship 2 or 3 hard drives.
With two hard drives they should have either an impact foam spacer between them or be individually packaged. Drop an email to pricematch@cclonline.com and I will pick it up thanks for your help.

There is a credit showing on your account, and after checking with the CCL Accounts team was processed back on the 7th of march so would have appeared back to your account a few days later.
