    1) Has anyone in the UK ordered gear from DTek Customs in the USA.
    2) Are there any hidden charges? How are these dealt with?
    3) How much did it cost for post to UK etc?
    4) How did you order?
    5) Was it a good service? Quick, hassle free, etc..

Where are the assembly instructions? e.g. blocks

I also noted that "Tekheads/ExtremeCooling" are the official UK resellers SO why don't they sell DTek Gear?

    Thnx in advance
    Mat :)

    Just ordered the Spir@l :D

After speakin to TiTch you can double the price as far as shipping goes. It weighs a ton!

I think TiTch paid just about the same for the block as he did for posting.

Timescale seems about a week. I ordered mine on Wednesday and have had confirmation that it's being processed.

I keep you posted, and some pic's :)

This is what i payed for my spir@l.

    Subtotal : $ 52.00
    Tax (0.00000%) : $ 0.00
    Shipping/Handling : $ 35.00

    TOTAL : $ 87.00
Shiping was quick got it in just over 5 days from start to finnish, ask them to put happy birthday to you on the outside of the box this meens its a gift and no tax will be payed, unlike my DD gf4 waterblock that cost me another £9.26 because they didn`t put it on the box like i told them to.

This is what Danny @ d-tek sent me the photos didnt turn out but i now know what to do..

Spiral & TC-4 Block Installation Guide
    With the D-Tek Mounting Kit

    Kit
    4- Bolts
    4- Springs
    12- Nylon Washers
    8- Nuts

With the motherboard removed or a suitable hole cut into the motherboard back mounting plate, install one nylon washer on each bolt and insert each one into the four mounting holes around the CPU socket (pic1). On the front side of the motherboard, install one nylon washer on each bolt fallowed by a nut on each bolt and snug up the nuts (DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN) (pic2). After applying a thin, even layer of thermal compound such as Artic Silver on the CPU core, install the waterblock with the milled step facing the fat part of the CPU socket (pic3). Carefully run the bolts through the four mounting holes in the block until the block sits evenly on the CPU core. Do not force the block down, it will result in a broken motherboard. Next install Four washers and the four springs on each bolt fallowed by the four nuts and tighten the nuts using a diagonal pattern (pic4). Tighten carefully until each spring is compressed about ½ to ¾. Measure from the top of the block to each retaining nut to verify that each spring is compressed evenly (pic5).

There are 4 more washers for the top to put between the springs,im very happy with this block but cant do nowt coz ive got family down to visit me :(

Thanks for the heads up we are trying to make GiBTEK a better resource for water-cooling information. The forum is picking up slowly but need some more peeps *cough*.

TiTchs imput on the site is really good and we often get in touch to bounce ideas around. I normally have an idea and he gives me an informed opinion if it works or not.

The block has been dispatched and should be here this week. I will post images soon.
