Just personal opinion I would go with a less Harsh color than red for the LEDs. They dont seem to go with the whole theme maybe a soft green or blue but i think the red contrast way too much. It's Looking better by the way beautiful work as always.
Worth checking out what other colours work well like Mechh69 said but having a dimmer switch like you mentioned about will be a good addition, the red looks good to me but wouldn't hurt to try some other colours, RGB strips are pretty awesome as they do a good range of colour & slow or fast pulsing efects so you could change it whenever you want. I personally think a slow pulsing light effect would be the cherry on the cake for this.
Thank you guys for yours comments. Now a few words from me. I've checked different colours. Blue is a total disaster. In that light wood looks ugly. Green is better. But still not good. Maybe because both of them are "cold" colours. Yellow don't looks right to me too. But I must admit. Back light on this photos is not what I wanted to achieve. Between resin and wood there are small gaps. That's good. Light should get out of this gaps. But it should be more dispersed. But I've tried all kinds of things that I can do in home with my equipment and nothing works very well. Now all elements are covered with aluminium foil. It helps. But it's still not good for me. Second thing. Leds are a little to bright for now. That's why I'm thinking about some adjustable resistor to set it right. It's worth to check it. Thanks for the idea
