Windows Other Gaming OS Shells?your opinion

ive tried a few other os shells and have been dissapointed a lot. ive tried gameOS and its slow (useless actually) and litestep, which is confusing but powerful. which ones do you guys prefer?if you had wanted to change how windows desktop is..

well personally im also curious which one would enhance multimedia things or games coz thats what i do mostly!

Wouldn't you want less visual enhancements to a desktop when using games? I run games on a stripped out W2k install, just so I know nothing's taking up extra processor power.

Unless I've mis-read it, and you mean shells that provide shortcuts to the games, my bad.
