Outlook 2007 using Charter

    For those that are have Outlook 07 and have Charter for the ISP and were no longer able to receive their messages. One solution is to check your mail through their website or if you have Vista, you can use Windows mail. For those like me and feel that is not a solution, you can do what I did. Since sending mail was not an issue, I left that set to Pop3 and mail.charter.net and only needed to change how it receives. I did it a little different so my outlook account would not be changed to gmail, I just used their smtp server for my outgoing mail but their way will work until charter fixes it. If you don't have gmail, I suppose any web based email will do, such as hotmail or yahoo. I have not seen any threads here about the problem, so I may be the only one here with the issue but just in case there are any, this does work.:rock:
