Every time I click on a link in an email in Outlook Express, it reuses whatever browser window I currently have open. I looked in the Options section, and it says that Express just pulls your settings from whatever you have in IE. In IE, under the Advanced Options tab, I have 'Reuse windows when launching shortcuts' unchecked. Both Express and IE are version 6.028, latest updates, etc. I'm confused, please help? Thanks.

Hmmm, there's an option somewhere that allows you to specify how many 'instances' of IE can be run at any one time. I too have the latest IE update but having a quick look just now I can't spot it.

If your setting is only to allow "1" instance then it will renew the same window, if it is say five, then you will spawn up to five instances before anything overwrites.

Sorry I can't find the setting at mo... (goes off to look again...)
    :(

It's just a crap program. Outlook did the same until Outlook 2003.

Went through every dang option and couldn't find it. I even searched in the registry. I don't think that's it, though, because in some emails links will open if I just hold the Shift key while clicking, and in others (formatted the same, from the same sender, etc.) won't open in a new window even if I beg and threaten. Any other ideas? Thanks!
