What was your outside temp reading today, according to your car?

-9, Here in Northampton. I haven't seen it that low before... :brrr:

Patiently waits for someone in Greatwhitenorth, Alaska (Or Freezemaboloxsoff, Russia) to say it's a lovely balmy day with a double digit minus figure.

I have a thermo-metre on the balcony of my flat... it was at -9/-10 at 0630 this morning, in Leicester...

Which forced me to put my bike-jacket on with it's thermal interior and comfies!

10 pm in the evening it's 20 degrees C outside.

Middle of the day it was 28-30 in our back storeroom at work, the roof measured @ 42 degrees with our IR gun.

    That sounds terrible.

Our heating is on full and it's still freezing (a few crappy storage heaters in a reasonably large flat). I would be in a foul mood if there were no heating at all.

I'll be honest - I've been wearing my girlfriends leggings underneath my jeans until I can locate somewhere to buy some more manly long-johns! ;)

    Ask and Ye shal receive

It was -30 C when I walked out the door to go to classes last morning... Believe it or not that is actually an improvement over last week. :brrr: Yet, this is still the warm part of winter... :waah:

I'll let you guys know what the temp is in the morning in a few hours when I get up when.

For the record that is Freezerbanks, Alaska :D

Funny story... I was on teleconference with two people from McMurdo Station, Antarctica last week... And they were actually 30 C warmer then what we were. :(

    14 C this morning (06h30) :D

during the day though it gets as high as 38 C - welcome to southern Africa summer. At least its a dry heat

The worst I've had ever was when in Grahamstown (South Africa) a few years back 34 C in the shade with 100% humidity for 2 solid weeks  THAT was hell

As of now (10:03 AM) It is -5 but feels like -13 with windchill in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.

Give it a few more weeks and it'll really start getting cold. I think last year we had it somewhere in the -30 to -40 range with windchill and it SUCKS.

-10 today, doesn't feel that bad tbh.

Perhaps I was spoiled by American/Canadian winters.

    I'm quite happy in jeans & t-shirt & light jacket in -10.

-7 this morning while defrosting my car - the can of de-icer made the ends of my fingers hurt.
