ok have just bought myself some window edging from halfords to edge this window : but i cant seem to get them to go round the edges with any ease at all... i have tried warm water, and even a hairdryer but it still wont work

any ideas as to how i can clean the window up or get the edging to work?

Seems to me that edging is only used to hide poorly finished cutting, or the bare edge of a pre-painted panel. Get a half-round medium-cut file, and spend a couple of hours filing. Put some tape on the outside of the panel and around the end of the file so you don't do any damage if you slip. Finish off with wet-or-dry paper.

    Cheers
