Has anyone had any experience with overclockers 'clearance' or 'B' products?

bought a B grade Samsung T240 from them a while ago, came with a battered box and blue colour not working correctly, posted in their customers support section and was able to get a refund.

got refund and their "A grade" T240 became cheaper (just £10 more than the B grade i bought), so bought that instead.

generally, if the item is not working, then they will give a refund, but buying B grade means you can't be fussy, you can't ask for refund because it's got a few cables missing.

You can get some bargains (like when I got a 9800GX2 for £150 a year ago, only had an open box, hadn't even been used), but they can mug you off big time aswell (like when I bought what was labelled as a TJ07 and a TJ03 arrived at my door).

Nowadays I just avoid OcUK in general, their borderline criminals in my eyes, if I need something cheap I head for the for sale sections on forums or ebay.

Getting TJ03 instead of TJ07 isn't something you should put up with. B-grade means it has open box, battered box and maybe a few scratches, it doesn't mean that the product could be totally different from the description.

Dunno about the OcUK in general, have just read on this forum, but that really applies to any and all stores.

Recently bought a Linksys WRT54GL from their Clearance lines, it was boxed (although not original) with all the original parts...

Have bought a lot of stuff of OcUK over the past few years and never had any problems; had some faulty ram that was DOA, but a simple case of sending it back and getting it replaced...

I wonder if we are talking about the same "OcUK"...;)

Am I only allowed to access this store after 250 posts on OcuK, or just post products to sell?

Had a few items from there B grade section, mainly just means open box / returned product / missing connectors and calbes etc...

They are tested before they give them to you. Some times they have a real bargains.
