any one got any experence with overclockers and is B grade werth buying?
Well there was this...
I just wouldn't.... seen so many people on here having issues, it can't be with the risk!
I had issues. Bought a GTX 295 (dual PCB one) and found that it wouldn;t fold despite them testings. They were fine about it, and RMA'd it no probs, and gave me my purchase price back, but they certainly hadn't exhaustively tested - one of the cores was simply not working at all and they'd misseed it!
In my sole experience of OCuk the 'brand new' monitor that turned up was pretty much B grade IMO.
Personally I would avoid the temptation.
I purchased a b grade msi gtx 460 hawk came minus the extras you get with a new item other than that not a problem .
The thig in Q is this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BG-182-GI&utm_source=froogle
I would really advise against it. B grade motherboards never sound good.
DO NOT DO IT!
Ask either myself, kosch or pete*.........
Not worth it, pay the bit extra and buy new (Or used from here, bit tech'ers dont usually go poo poo on their own door step so to speak)
In the other thread I told people to stay away.
They then all bought monitors and then all had problems because they were all fit for the bin.
Avoid like the plague
It's a 50/50, shame really.
I think you're giving over generous odds really, more like 0.1/99.9
Why do people still get conned with overcockers ffs its just not worth it save yourself some grief and buy somewhere else
I bought one afew years back. It wouldnt even post so ended up having to nip to pcworld and get one as need the comp up and running
Just got this instead http://www.kikatek.com/product_info.php?products_id=206453&source=froogle
Gigabyte are sending me the missing I/O shield...
a guy not so long ago bought a u2711 (i think) B grade and half the screen was faulty.
i just wouldnt go there. i considered it when buying my u2711 but if what you're buying is expensive, just save a lil bit more for a new one or you will likely regret it
I personally don't deal with OCUK even if they are the only UK store with stock and are selling £20 cheaper than everyone else. It's still not worth the risk of having to deal with their fairly infamous customer service department. As for B-stock... I've bought new from them in the past and been delivered a (clearly) used item. I can only assume their idea of B-stock is something that is completely broken.
